Payment and Cancellation policy

1 – Payment Policy

Emtyaztravel.com offers flexible payment options for all customers. To secure your booking, a deposit is required at the time of reservation.
The deposit amount varies depending on the tour package and will be clearly displayed before completing your booking.

Accepted Payment Methods

You may complete your payment through any of the following:

a) Online payment (Visa / MasterCard / Stripe)
b) Bank transfer or bank deposit
c) Cash at our offices in Egypt
d) Remaining balance upon arrival, unless stated otherwise in your package details

All bookings are only confirmed once payment is received and an official confirmation voucher is issued.


2 – Cancellation, No-Show & Amendments

a) Cancellation Policy

Each Tour Package, Nile Cruise, Activity, or Hotel component has its own cancellation policy based on the suppliers involved (hotels, cruises, airlines, transportation).
The applicable policy is displayed clearly on the website before booking and will also be sent in your confirmation email.

  • Some bookings are NON-REFUNDABLE under all circumstances.

  • Other bookings may allow partial or full refunds depending on timing.

Please read the cancellation terms for each tour carefully before completing your booking.


b) No-Show Policy

If you:

  • arrive late for the tour or pick-up time,

  • fail to show up at the meeting point,

  • decide to shorten your trip after arrival,

  • or do not arrive at all,

→ the booking will be considered a NO-SHOW and is 100% non-refundable.

Emtyaztravel.com is not responsible for missed tours due to flight delays, missed connections, or personal circumstances beyond our control.


c) Amendments / Modifications

If your booking is Refundable, you may request modifications such as:

  • changing travel dates

  • adjusting the number of guests

  • modifying services

Modifications may be subject to:

  • administrative fees

  • supplier charges (hotel, cruise, airline)

  • price differences due to new travel dates

If your booking is Non-Refundable, changes are not permitted.

Important:
Some modifications may result in cancellation fees if the request is made too close to the travel date or within the supplier’s penalty window.


d) How to Request Changes

To request a modification:

  • Log into your account on Emtyaztravel.com

  • Use the “Change My Booking” or “Send a Message” forms

  • Our Customer Support team will respond within 24 hours

Bookings modified directly with hotels, guides, or suppliers without our approval will be treated as non-authorized changes → and may incur a 100% charge.


3 – Refund Process

If you are eligible for a refund based on the cancellation policy:

  • Refunds will be issued to the same payment method used at booking.

  • Bank fees or international transfer fees may be deducted.

  • Refunds may take 7–14 business days depending on bank processing times.


4 – Special Notes for Tours & Nile Cruises

Because our packages often include airlines, cruises, government-regulated sites, and fixed sailing schedules, cancellations or amendments may be affected by supplier policies.

Examples:

  • Domestic flight tickets may be non-refundable or subject to airline penalties

  • Nile Cruise bookings often have strict cancellation windows

  • Government closures or weather conditions may require adjusting itineraries

 

We will always offer the closest possible alternative of equal value, but refunds follow the supplier rules
